Salute to Stalin and is dictatorship. Stalin believed no one expect himself. He united the nation into one work force just for the soviet nation progress. He never interested in invading other nation, he took all the decision only for soviet nation security. . .

@Alexander
The five year plan, was as stated in the film an attempt to turn peasant russia into a superstate. wich ultimately succeeded and makes russia a power even today.
Allso i must state, this is not a documentary, it’s propaganda.
Stalin is refered to from the beginning as a dictator, a documentary does not make judgement, it merely gives facts so that the viewer may judge.
Allso the view on the “land grabbing” is largly propaganda.
Only a small amount of people actually owned land (as in capitlist nations usually it is), and the land was taken from this small amount of people.
The mayority, did not own land, and thus could not be robbed from in. in stead of working for a landowner, who gives you nothing but the means of survival you now work for the state, who gives you more.
The landowners incited rebelion, wich worked, wich caused food production to be lower then expected, those that rebelled starved for it.
The causes of events are poorly explained, and the motivations are totally not explained.

I turned off the documentary after the first 20 seconds.
quote:
Twice as many people were executed by Stalins regime, than were killed by Hitler.
unquote
Hitler killed 40 million people, 20 million of them Soviets.
So Stalin executed 80 or 40 million people Soviets?
HA-HA-HA-HA
